  ACTION #1. Consider MOTION to approve and accept the April 30, 2012 agenda, without amendment.
B. PUBLIC HEARING(S):
 
Appeal Hearing - Ted and Lynn Deal
  ACTION #2. Consider MOTION to close appeal hearing.
  ACTION #3. Consider MOTION to affirm/reverse the Notice and Order.
C. LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS:
  Approval of Ordinances:
  Ord 1727:
An ordinance amending certain provisions of Chapter 44, Noise Control
  ACTION #4. Consider MOTION to accept second consideration of ORDINANCE 1727.
  ACTION #5. Consider MOTION to accept staff recommendation to suspend the rule that ordinances must be considered on three different days and accept third consideration of ORDINANCE 1727, sending it on its final passage and publication as required by law.
D. NEW BUSINESS:
 
FEMA Fire Prevention and Safety Grant
  ACTION #6. Consider MOTION to approve the submittal of a FEMA Fire Prevention and Safety Grant Application in the amount of $72,695.00.
 
Prairie Ridge Soccer Complex - Lighting Agreement
  ACTION #7. Consider Motion to adopt RESOLUTION authorizing the execution of an agreement between the City of Ankeny, Iowa, and the Iowa Rush Soccer Club for the lighting of soccer platforms at Prairie Ridge Sports Complex.
 
Discussion of Council Vacancy
 
Request for Executive Session
  ACTION #8. Consider MOTION that council go into executive session as requested to discuss personnel matters, pursuant to Iowa Code Chapter 21.5, sub-section (i)
  " to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual's reputation and that individual so requests a closed session."

(Following adjournment of the Executive Session, Council may take action on any matter discussed during the Executive Session)
